FIBROZYME™ – How the enzyme works
Fibrozyme contains an enzyme that targets hemicellulose and cellulose in plant materials. Added to mixed feed, Fibrozyme immediately begins breaking down the cell wall fraction of plant fiber in the rumen environment. This quick action “jump-starts” fiber digestion by providing bacteria with both easily available nutrients and easier access to other plant structures.
Converting forage to pounds – Can we ask for more?
Contrary to popular belief, forages can be expensive ration ingredients. The energy yield the animal receives from forage is low due to low digestibility, and slow degradation in the rumen is a factor limiting intake. Increasing ruminal forage digestibility by even small amounts can have a large impact on both intake and production.
